Terms of Service
The terms under which BrightPath AI Solutions provides DeskMate. Last updated 27 July 2026.
Agreement
These terms govern access to DeskMate. By creating a tenant or using the service, the Customer accepts them on behalf of its organisation.
Licence and acceptable use
We grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use DeskMate for internal business purposes. Customers must not reverse engineer the service, resell access, or use it to process data they have no right to process.
Seats and billing
- A seat is anyone who can trigger or approve a Skill
- Recipients of output are not seats
- Fees are per seat per month, billed monthly or annually in advance
- Seat counts are trued up at the end of each billing period
Customer responsibilities
The Customer configures which Skills run freely, on a schedule, or behind an approval, and is responsible for those settings and for the accuracy of connected system credentials.
Availability and support
We target 99.5% monthly availability excluding scheduled maintenance. Response targets vary by plan and are set out on the pricing page.
Intellectual property
Customers own their content and any Skills recorded from it. BrightPath owns the platform, and nothing here transfers rights in it.
Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's confidential information with at least the care it applies to its own, and will not disclose it except to personnel who need it.
Warranties and disclaimers
DeskMate produces drafts and takes actions a human has authorised. It is not a substitute for professional judgement, and it is provided without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, each party's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Term and termination
Either party may terminate at the end of a billing period. On termination, access ends and tenant data is deleted within 30 days unless export is requested first.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
Changes
We may update these terms on 30 days' notice. Material changes are communicated to tenant administrators directly.
