Custom skills

Need something bespoke?

Anything outside the library gets scoped and quoted up front. One price, one delivery date, and the skill belongs to you afterwards.

ScopeRangeWhat it covers
Light $100 – $400 Single-step skills — a recurring report, a templated email, a one-tool pull. Shipped in days.
Standard $500 – $1,200 Multi-step workflows across 2–4 systems, your team's rules, approvals queued where you work.
Complex $1,300 – $2,500 End-to-end processes with branching logic, multiple approval queues and your playbook baked in.

On every plan: unlimited skills your team records, runs in chat, and Sydney data residency. The skill library is an add-on to any plan, and custom skills are scoped and quoted as above.

Questions

Why not just use ChatGPT?
Nothing stops a staff member pasting a client’s figures into a public chatbot — which is exactly the problem. DeskMate connects to the ledger directly rather than through copy and paste, holds anything client-facing behind an approval, writes an audit record of every run, and keeps the whole path onshore. You are not buying a better chat window; you are buying the part that makes the work defensible.
What counts as a seat?
Anyone who can trigger or approve a skill. People who only receive the output — a report in a channel, an emailed summary — are not seats.
Can DeskMate act without a human?
Only where you allow it. Every skill declares whether it runs freely, on a schedule, or behind an approval queue, and that setting is enforced server-side, not by the model.
Where does our data live?
Sydney, Australia, on every plan. Your content is never used to train models, and audit logs are exportable on Growth and above.
What happens after the trial?
Nothing automatic. The trial expires and the skills pause. Your data stays retrievable for 30 days, then it is destroyed, backups included. There is no card on file to charge.

Start with one skill.

Pick the workflow that eats the most hours this week. We will have it running, governed and reviewable, before the next one.
